Wondering how to join? May have overlooked it but couldn’t find where to join.

      Jamie,

Thanks for the note. There is no formal membership – you simply show up at events, pay and fish. Look up our new Facebook page, and mark it, so you can receive updates there too.

I agree – the fB page mentions “member discount” relative to purchase of a Ketch board. I intend to fish my 1st CKA tournament for the Reese/Lucas event. Maybe references of “membership” need removed (?) as is confusing for newer anglers.

        1. Brian,
Membership is only required if you plan to keep your AOY/ROY points, or want the discounts. We don;t require membership, but it is encouraged because it comes with perks. But for the angler who only fishes 1 event per season, it may not be worth it.

    1. Head over to FishingChaos.com or download the app. Search for Carolina Kayak Anglers, and you can join and pay for the membership there to be eligible for Angler and Rookie of the year points and some special discounts with our sponsors!
