Overview

Welcome anglers to Event #2 of the 2019 CKA tournament season. The tournament will be held on Jordan Lake, a lake that has been fishing well in recent years, giving up several bass in the 10-12 class. The lake is very healthy of late and lightly pressured due to recent ramp closures, and, well we all saw what the MLF pros did when they fished it. In short, this event is setting up perfectly!

We will use a multi-launch format on Jordan Lake. See the list of allowed ramps at the bottom of the post. Keep in mind that launch or day-use fees apply at some areas and anglers are responsible for launch fees. We are also using an off-lake site for the Captains Meeting (more details below). This is to avoid ramp congestion.

As always, print your ID early, and fill in the code when it is released Friday night before the event. You can also re-use your ID card from the last event – just be sure to put the code in the right box!

Sign up is free on Tourneyx – we pay the site fee after the event. If you sign up and can’t make the event, please remove your name from the tournament or contact the site to have them do it for you.

Fee: Anglers will pay 50$ (cash only, bring exact change) for the event on Saturday morning at the Captains Meeting between 5:00 and 5:45 am.

Captains Meeting: 580 Craft Beer will host us for both the Captains Meeting and post-event check in: The address is: 354 East St, Pittsboro, NC 27312.

580 Craft Beer is a relatively short drive (15-20 mins) from most ramps on Jordan Lake. Some of the farthest ramps, such as Farrington and Poe’s Ridge, take a bit longer. Budget your time.
