Dozens of CKA anglers are KBF members and as members they compete in KBF Trail, Open and Challenges/On-Line events. KBF anglers also represented our series at the 2018 KBF National Championship on Kentucky Lake, competing against over 700 of the nation’s top anglers. Two CKA anglers (Cory Dreyer and Matt Hawj), finished in the top 25, placing 25th and 16th, respectively, with Aaron Miller also in the top 10% of the field (46th).
CKA hosted 2 KBF Trail events in 2018 (Shearon Harris, June 9th and the Gate City Classic on October 6th). CKA also helped Boonedox with the KBF Trail event at High Rock Lake on April 21st. CKA regulars won all 3 events

- Jamie Denison 1st place, KBF Trail (Gate City Classic)
Jamie also went on to score the CKA season’s most notable national accomplishment, when he won the KBF 100 and KBF Trail Championship at Toledo Bend in October of 2018!
