Why that name? That&#8217;s because you posted your twenty best bass for the month, and the registration cost was twenty three dollars each month. With each year, the cost would increase by one dollar to match the new year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fun new series provided opportunities for new anglers to practice before committing to long tournament drives. It also provided additional qualifying opportunities to end of season events, as well as monthly payouts. After a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolinakayakanglers.com\/?p=5990\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">successful first season<\/a>, the &#8220;20 for\u2026.&#8221; series became an institution and a permanent addition to the CKA event portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How Does it Work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series allows CKA members to submit bass from any river or lake that Carolina Kayak Anglers (CKA) has fished for a live tournament event (including the lakes on the 2024 schedule). The complete list of eligible waters is at the bottom of this post and will be posted on every series event page on Fishing Chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Series highlights include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unique sponsors and prizes, including trophies for the top 3 spots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly events that run from March-August of each season<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Qualifying for the CKA Tournament of Champions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The top three finishers qualify for the KBF National Championship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/app.fishingchaos.com\/club\/cka\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to become a CKA Member!!!<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rules (updated for 2026)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All KBF and CKA standard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carolinakayakanglers.com\/?page_id=38\">rules<\/a> apply, with the following exceptions, additions and\/or points of emphasis:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The monthly tournament begins at 12:00 a.m. of the first day of each month (beginning in March) and concludes at 11:59:59 pm on the final day of each month;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No sandbagging: anglers <strong>must<\/strong> post their fish within 72 hours of the time stamp for each catch;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anglers must post their catch within 24 hours of the time stamp during the last 72 hours of each month;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tournament of Champions qualification: the top 2 finishers in the final standings will receive an invitation to the 2026 CKA Tournament of Champions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only paid CKA Members may register and submit fish to the 20 for 26 series;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are no designated pre-fishing periods; however, anglers may not submit fish from water that is off-limits during a tournament week.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The minimum submission length is 10\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The angler with the longest overall length for their verified catches will win the month. This means you can win without catching a limit. An angler who has a 20 fish limit of 189\u201d would lose to an angler who lands 19 fish for 192\u201d;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The 2026 CKA identifier must be clearly and fully visible in each submission;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The tie breaker is largest fish, in descending order from longest to shortest.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payouts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 20 for 26 series will withhold $4.00 from every fee for the CKA Tournament of Champions, which is a 100% payout event. A $1.00 amount is withheld for credit card fees.
