CKA Anglers in 2017 KBF Online Events<\/h2>\n

Dozens of CKA anglers are KBF members, and as members they can compete in select online tournament events. For them, 2017 was a landmark year, as CKA anglers competed at a high level in nearly every one of the season\u2019s KBF “Challenge” events. This post recognizes their hard work and celebrates their achievements.<\/p>\n

Kayak Bass Fishing holds two categories of \u201cChallenge\u201d events every season. First, there are the popular KBF Monthly Challenges, which are organized by state. Second, there are the nationwide \u201cSpecial Challenges\u201d that generally run Friday \u2013 Sunday. Special Challenges are divided into Night Fishing Events (\u201cOne Night Stands\u201d) and Special Challenges that mark important calendar dates like Father\u2019s Day, etc.<\/p>\n

KBF held 15 Special Challenges in 2017, and the best finishes by CKA anglers were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
o        Joey Sullivan 1st<\/sup> place<\/td>\n    (Black Bass Friday, 98 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Rick Rowland 1st<\/sup> place<\/td>\n    (April One night Stand, 78 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Jamie Denison 2nd<\/sup> place<\/td>\n   (Veteran\u2019s Day Challenge, 120 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Rick Rowland 2nd<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (Father\u2019s Day Challenge, 106 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Dewayne Houser 2nd<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (July One night Stand, 135 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Matthew Dunn 3rd<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (Mother\u2019s Day Challenge, 73 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Henry Veggian 3rd<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (Dog Days Challenge, 131 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Brian Falbe 6th<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (May One Night Stand, 85 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Brandon Jessup 6th<\/sup> place<\/td>\n  (July One Night Stand, 135 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Matt Dunn 10th<\/sup> Place<\/td>\n  (Columbus Day Challenge, 104 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Cory Dreyer 11th<\/sup> Place<\/td>\n  (100 Challenge, 100 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
o        Henry Veggian 11th<\/sup> Place<\/td>\n  (Columbus Day Challenge, 104 anglers)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Other notable finishes include the \u201cFreedom to Fish\u201d Challenge in which Rick Rowland, Henry Veggian, Jamie Denison and Ralph Nolan rounded out the top 25 with 16th<\/sup>, 17th<\/sup>, 19th<\/sup> and 21st<\/sup> place finishes, respectively.<\/p>\n
