We invite CKA anglers to participate in this great project to improve fishing at Shearon Harris Reservoir. As some of you know from previous posts, the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is recruiting volunteers to participate in this effort, which is part of the Sportfish Restoration program.<\/p>\n

By participating in this project, anglers will work with other volunteers (including other fishing clubs) to improve fish habitat at one of the nation\u2019s most famous Largemouth bass fisheries. This is a great opportunity for CKA members to show that kayak anglers support the excellent wildlife officers and biologists who keep our waters safe and sustain our world class fisheries. Please try to participate, and spread the word to family and friends who might attend!<\/p>\n

The scheduled work dates are June 18-22 and July 9-13. You can attend for one day or multiple days, and choose from various tasks to complete. They include:<\/p>\n
