CKA partners with other clubs and organizations to maintain local waterways and fisheries, raise money for charity and more. Examples include:
- Between 2013-2020, CKA raised tens of thousands of dollars for Heroes on The Water.
- From 2019 to the present, CKA directors participate in the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s Shearon Harris Reservoir Habitat Restoration Project (2019-present)
- In 2024, CKA and CCKF removed over 600 pounds of trash from the shoreline of Lake Mackintosh (see pdf attachment below)
