CKA partners with other clubs and organizations to maintain local waterways and fisheries, raise money for charity and more. Examples include:
- Since 2013, CKA has raised tens of thousands of dollars for veterans. Most recently, in 2025, CKA began collaborating with the North Carolina chapter of Purple Heart Homes, a charity that builds homes for military veterans.
- From 2019 to the present, CKA directors participate in the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission’s Shearon Harris Reservoir Habitat Restoration Project (2019-present)
- In 2024, CKA and CCKF removed over 600 pounds of trash from the shoreline of Lake Mackintosh
- In 2025, CKA collaborated with Hobie Eyewear and Carl Jocumsen’s Fear my Heart foundation to clean up shoreline litter at Jordan Lake.
