CKA Anglers at 2025 KBF Events

In 2025 Kayak Bass Fishing centralized the Ketch KBF Challenge Series as the main component of its competition formats. CKA anglers performed at a high level, winning top spots in both the on-line challenges and live events. In fact, for the first time in several years, a CKA angler won a major KBF trophy when Justin Faircloth became the second CKA angler since 2016 to win KBF Angler of the Year (the other AOY was Jamie Denison).

The page below recognizes and celebrates the achievements of CKA anglers in the Kayak bass Fishing series. As always, CKA staff thanks everyone who represented North Carolina in these events.

KBF events are sorted into three categories below: KBF Challenges, KBF National Championship and Additional Events such as KBF The TEN.

KBF State Challenges & Ketch Challenge Series Championship

Kayak Bass Fishing holds Challenge events every season: these include popular Ketch KBF Monthly Challenges, which are organized by state, as well as charity events (Fish OPS) and other occasional series.

The best 2025 finishes by CKA anglers in KBF Challenges were as follows:

Honorable mention goes to North Carolina angler Wyatt Hammond, who won the KBF National Championship in 2025.

KBF The TEN

By virtue of his victory in the 2025 Challenge Series Championship, Justin Faircloth qualified for KBF The TEN. Faircloth became the sixth CKA angler to qualify for the event (the others are Eric Nelson, Sean Boorsma, Ricky Rowland, Jamie Denison and Cory Dreyer), and the third to do so since 2023.
