After 6 events we have some nice bass sitting on top for the FishOPS Big Bass leaderboard! To date the anglers have raised $580 for the FishOPS Veteran’s charity that is headed up by Chad Hoover. The main focus is awareness and support for the Veterans with PTSD and their families and with the high rate of suicide with their Catch 22 fishing program. The season opener for Carolina Kayak Anglers at Falls Lake presented by Greensboro Gardens turned out to be a struggle after all that warm weather and rise in water levels. 63 anglers expected a lot of big fish and limits, but Falls didn’t want to play for most!
