CKA 2022 Jordan Lake presented by OTWI

Prespawn still in effect at Jordan Lake presented by On The Water Innovations (OTWI) with bass moving up shallow but not wanting to play along for most of the the 58 anglers fishing the event. The bite was tough for most, many saw fish shallow getting ready but they were very spooky and not feeding or protecting. As with every event, some guys find something that works and put it all together! OTWI also provided some amazing trophies for this event making it the one you wanted to win!

Bruce Deal wins the event with 92 inches for $1203 and the OTWI custom Trophy for the event!

This event act angler was Bruce Deal who was able to put together a solid 92″ limit for the win and $1,203! Second place was Jeremy Hicks with 90″ took home $722 and a pair of Solar Bat Sunglasses, the winner from the last event at Lake Mackintosh . Third place was the current Rookie of the Year angler Alexander Sterling who was able to put up 88″ and won $481 and a 60% off certificate from Solar Bat Sunglasses!

4th place went to Joey Sullivan for $100!
5th place went to James Weavers for $75!
Big bass of the event was 22.75 inches and went to Ryan Freeman for $580!
Ryan Freeman takes big bass with this 22.75 inch fat spawning Jordan female who was immediately released to continue the process!

OTWI also added a special bonus Inno Rod Box valued at around $650 for 30th place which was Rick Rowland, but you have to be present to win and he was not, so the prize was pushed down to 31st place which gave 2021 Rookie of the Year Jared Stanley another big prize from Carolina Kayak Anglers!

Carver Kayak Covers by Covercraft winner was Mike Gonzalez who was in 34th place.

Dakota Lithium Batteries winner was our young hammer Luke Greco who had a descent day for 21st place.

The YakAttack $50 gift certificate was won by James Quinn who finished 27th in the event.

Get Outdoors Pedal and Paddle Captain’s Meeting prize was a Icemule Cooler also won by James Quinn!

All of these anglers won the Caraway Creek Custom Baits prizes so we expect them to be in the money at the Stanly County event next month!

Many anglers also able to take away some great bags of Caraway Creek Custom Baits as well.

Make sure you make the Captain’s Meetings and the Event Meetups regardless how you’re day goes! We gave out around $1000 in product prizes to anglers out of the money Saturday!
