2022 FishOPS Big Bass Standings

After 6 events we have some nice bass sitting on top for the FishOPS Big Bass leaderboard! To date the anglers have raised $580 for the FishOPS Veteran’s charity that is headed up by Chad Hoover.

The main focus is awareness and support for the Veterans with PTSD and their families and with the high rate of suicide with their Catch 22 fishing program. When Chad announced this charity drive for Veteran’s, we had to do something to support it. Carolina Kayak Angler’s was founded by Veteran’s and we have always been a big supporter of Veteran causes raising over $20,000 supporting Heroes on the Water, current active duty military with Socks and Cookies, and now FishOPS.

Current Leader: Bryan Tsiolkas with a 22.5″ giant from the Summer Lakes event on Lake Them-A-Lex!

We made this a voluntary option to run all year long with 50% going to payout and 50% going to the cause. The angler support for the program is astonishing, far exceeding participation goals from the start. As of August 20, 2022 we have $622.50 going to FishOPS and $622.50 going to payouts which will be a 50/30/20 split from 1st through 3rd place respectively. With 2 events left on the schedule, this number will be going even higher! Thank you to all the anglers who have supported the cause so far!
