Hello everyone, and here we go with the 1st of 3 separate announcements for the end of season prizes!
CKA welcomes new anglers every season but our first time tournament anglers increased dramatically in 2017. And because many were already strong anglers prior to fishing CKA we decided to incentivize competition by establishing a rookie of the year prize for the 2018 season. What we didn’t anticipate was the turnout, skill level and new friends that the new anglers brought to the group this season. It exceeded all expectations and we are grateful.
The ROY will be announced at the Gate City Classic, and with 2 events left it remains an open race. The prize package includes:
$250 cash prize
A new Carver kayak cover
Qualifying spot in the CKA Tournament of Champions (October 13-14)
A Custom engraved trophy by artist Ross Myer (FL) at Bass Trophies Online.
