2022 Tournament of Champions

Carolina Kayak Anglers will hold this year’s Tournament of Champions [TOC] on Lake Tillery in Stanly County. There is no cost for the anglers for this event but anglers must qualify by winning an event or being in the top 20% of the club (spots will roll down).

In total, there are a total of 23 possible spots reserved but generally some are duplicates. The spots are for the 8 event winners , 13 other spots in top 20, 2022 Rookie of the Year and the 2021 TOC champ.

  • 2nd $500
  • 3rd $250
  • 4th Dakota Lithium 23ah
  • 5th Dakota Lithium Powerbox
  • 6th Dakota Lithium 18ah
  • 7th Carver Cover
  • 8th $25 Yakattack gift card
  • 9th $25 Yakattack gift card
  • 10th $25 Yakattack gift card

Kayak Bass Fishing has put up a $1,000 Stanly County Big Bass prize for the event as well!

  • Cory Dreyer – Falls Lake Winner
  • Jeremy Hicks – Lake Mackintosh
  • Bruce Deal – 2022 Rookie of the Year – Jordan Lake
  • Christopher Decker – Badin / Tillery
  • Jared Stanly – East West Lakes
  • Bryan Tsiolkas – 2022 Angler of the Year – Summer Lakes (Lake Thom-A-Lex)
  • Bryan Tsiolkas – East West Harris?
  • Jared Stanley – Gate City Classic

That leaves up to 18th place for AOY points to qualify for the event with one more event to go – The Gate City Classic presented by Get Outdoors Pedal and Paddle! The if we have a new winner that is also a member, that will push it to 19th place.
