In June of this year, several CKA anglers signed up and competed in an online charity event run by Socks and Cookies, a 501-C non profit that raises money to send care packages to American military members stationed abroad. CKA anglers who fished that June event spoke highly of how it was run and also of the quality of competition and non-cash prizes that they received in competition. The best prize was knowing that their entry fees went to support a good cause.
This Saturday, September 7th, Socks & Cookies will run a 1 day-long, nationwide online charity event. We hope that North Carolina anglers will show up in numbers and have fun in competition. To sign up, please register and pay at the following link.
