In June of this year, several CKA anglers signed up and competed in an online charity event run by Socks and Cookies, a 501-C non profit that raises money to send care packages to American military members stationed abroad. CKA anglers who fished that June event spoke highly of how it was run and also of the quality of competition and non-cash prizes that they received in competition. Hello everyone, This Memorial Day, we are asking anglers to consider helping a worthwhile organization that provides care packages to U.S. troops. The charity is Socks and Cookies (501c), and they have been running kayak fishing tournaments (both live and on-line). The tournaments are called “Kickin’ Bass 4 Troops.” The next North Carolina tournament begins on Saturday, June 1st, and you can sign up on Tourneyx for it.
