Carolina Kayak Anglers will raffle a host of great items at the post-event gathering for this year’s Gate City Classic on September 24, 2022. Prizes include:
- A free membership for CKA’s 10th anniversary season in 2023
- A Dakota Lithium 18 ah Battery
- New CKA Shirts/Hoodies
- Grand Prize: A custom CKA fishing rod by Chris Linville of The Rod Shop
- Also – the 2nd place finisher will win a custom rod tube by On the Water Innovations!
About the Rod
Chris Linville of The Rod Shop has once again provided our club with custom fishing rods for the 2022 season. The rods feature the CKA logo in its classic green on black design. Two of the rods already have a destination. The 2022 CKA Rookie of the Year chooses one while the other is reserved for the CKA 2022 Angler of the year.
The third rod will be raffled to raise money for the Tournament of Champion payouts!
The raffle will be held following the Gate City Classic on Sept 24, 2022. We will meet at Get Outdoors Pedal and Paddle in Greensboro, NC, and a lucky winner will win the rod that day! Please bring cash to purchase raffle tickets. Tickets are $10.00 each and 3 for $20.00
Rod specs:
The Rod Shop makes rods from Liberty custom blanks with custom cork grips. They have abalone inlays with the CKA logo and a hook keeper, AT microwave guides, with green and gold custom wraps. Chris will build you a rod to your specifications. Contact him at 336-414-7755.
