After 6 events, the following anglers have qualified for the Tournament of Champions: Melvin Yang (1st place, Burlington Bash) Joey Sullivan (1st Place, High Rock) Sammy Wilson (1st Place, Tuckertown) Will Lambert (1st Place, Randleman) As it stands, the cash prize pot is over $1,000. Last year, Melvin Yang won the 2017 crown at Lake Norman and the year before that it was Denny Romero on the Yadkin River. Who will be this year’s champion? CKA established the Tournament of Champions in 2016 to provide an end-of-season event for the top anglers on our trail. Fun and prizes are the event’s focus.
