Hello everyone, This Memorial Day, we are asking anglers to consider helping a worthwhile organization that provides care packages to U.S. troops. The charity is Socks and Cookies (501c), and they have been running kayak fishing tournaments (both live and on-line). The tournaments are called “Kickin’ Bass 4 Troops.” The next North Carolina tournament begins on Saturday, June 1st, and you can sign up on Tourneyx for it. Hello all, The CKA standings are heating up as we approach mid season! In the AOY race, Joey Sullivan has emerged as a favorite after three strong events, but with 5 remaining anything can happen. 54 anglers competed in event #3 at High Rock Lake. High Rock fished very well this year, producing limits for more than half the field. In the end, the ROY race tightened up and new names appeared on the rookie roster, 3 more CKA anglers qualified for the KBF 2020 National Championship and Guntersville, an additional $280 was raised for Heroes on the Water and many anglers also competed in the Boonedox Yadkin Slam, where CKA angler Joey Sullivan won the Bass Division.
