After 6 events, the following anglers have qualified for the Tournament of Champions: Melvin Yang (1st place, Burlington Bash) Joey Sullivan (1st Place, High Rock) Sammy Wilson (1st Place, Tuckertown) Will Lambert (1st Place, Randleman) As it stands, the cash prize pot is over $1,000. Additional spots will be awarded to the Rookie of the Year and the AOY top 25. CKA has never fished Kerr Lake, and it will be the farthest north and east our trail has ever reached. It is also the largest lake we have ever fished. Hello everyone, This Memorial Day, we are asking anglers to consider helping a worthwhile organization that provides care packages to U.S. troops. The charity is Socks and Cookies (501c), and they have been running kayak fishing tournaments (both live and on-line). The tournaments are called “Kickin’ Bass 4 Troops.” The next North Carolina tournament begins on Saturday, June 1st, and you can sign up on Tourneyx for it. Overview Welcome anglers to Event #4 of the 2019 CKA tournament season. The tournament will be held on Tuckertown Reservoir. We have not fished Tuckertown since 2015 when John Ladd won 1st place on a hot July day.
